I’ve spent the majority of my career working with young people. I have been an educator, an advocate, a probation officer, and an administrator. I have worked in the courts, in residential detention facilities, schools, and administrative offices. I am a leader, an organizer, and a planner. I am hard working and quick to learn, with attention to detail. I am flexible and accustomed to change and hope to find a way to use my time and talents to enrich my community, wherever that may be. Ghana -Atlas Volunteers-Teaching English
I worked with a primary school to identify kids that needed one-on-one English tutoring. I then worked with about 15 kids a week on their English. Rwanda -Partners for Conservation-Program Manager
I started as a volunteer, working with the NGO to digitize their volunteer process and organize their various projects. I also helped them create sound policies that will help them maintain stability moving forward. I will continue to work with this organization as a Program Manager both in the US and in Rwanda as much as I am able.
Uganda -Universal Health & Development Foundation
I worked with the organization to digitize their policies. I also helped them start to develop a campaign, in partnership with the government, to plan a girls football event that also focused on women’s health issues.

As a Probation Officer in Juvenile Court, I conducted interviews, wrote court reports, made recommendations for treatment and placement, worked with youth on case planning and supervised youth in the community. I created a reading program for the youth in my state where they can earn community service hours for reading. As a Youth Advocate I worked with youth in a residential setting. I organized learning activities, scheduled volunteers and encouraged literacy through a reading program. I helped develop a level system that included reading and life skills. I recommended placement in court for youth who were unable to return home for various reasons.
