While at New Horizon I did my practicum and or shadowed different counselors to accumulate hours towards my license. I completed my schooling and now have passed my ADC exam to be licensed.

Job Description: Monitor individuals, log behaviors, UAS, assist in the intake process and departure process with individuals. Intake process would consist of searching individuals, searching all belongings for drug paraphernalia, substance, writing recites for property, take temperature, BA (Blood Alcohol) test, weigh individual, do intake paper work, wash and dry clothes. Departure process would be collecting all the individual’s belongings and having the individual sign off on the recipes the night before departure. Drive individuals to and from appointments, emergency room or support meetings. Medication cart Duties: log and dispense medication to individuals.
