Director of Leasing, July 2015 – July 2018

Responsible for the leasing and marketing for the Southern California portfolio for ECP which included developing marketing materials and website, managing broker and tenant relations, organizing tenant and broker events (gold tournaments, open houses, lunches, dinners, etc.), involved in financial and credit analysis, lease negotiations, and tenant improvement process. Heavily involved in the 3.5 year interior and exterior renovation project of the building located at 777 Aviation Blvd. in El Segundo. Leased the building up to 75% occupancy within an 8 month period from time of completion of renovation process. Partners sold building shortly after the lease up was substantial.

BANTRY HOLDINGS, LLC, LOS ANGELES

Vice President of Leasing, August 2008 – April 2014

Responsible for leasing transactions for a portfolio of 10 buildings for Guggenheim Real Estate (GRE). Increased occupancy of portfolio from 82% up to 94% during tenure. Buildings were located in Woodland Hills, Laguna Nigel, Long Beach, Culver City, and Glendale. The portfolio totaled approximately 2.5 million square feet. Hired and worked with brokerage firms on various assets. Also responsible for marketing on behalf of GRE, which included broker events and broker incentive programs. Worked closely with attorneys on all documents relating to leasing, construction, contracts, etc. Heavily involved in the management of all tenant improvement and construction projects. Coordinated the activities of the building architects, negotiated the work and project costs, acted as liaison between the tenant and the architect, and ensured the work was performed satisfactorily.

TRIZEC PROPERTIES/BROOKFIELD PROPERTIES, LOS ANGELES

Senior Leasing Manager, December 1998 – August 2007

Managed marketing and leasing for a portfolio totaling 1.85 million square feet consisting of office, retail, and medical assets. Buildings were located in Marina del Rey, LAX, Long Beach, and Los Angeles, CA. Maintained high occupancy in all buildings and was recognized by the company as a Top Producer in most years. One lease transaction highlight: completed the one of Los Angeles’ largest lease transaction in 2001 at Shoreline Square, 301 E. Ocean Blvd., Long Beach, with the GSA for the US Customs and Homeland Security, totaling 125,000 rsf, with a value of approximately $125 million. Shoreline Square had a 53% occupancy rate when Trizec Properties purchased the building. This transaction brought the occupancy up to 93.2%, which has been maintained or bettered over the 17 years that I handled the leasing. Brookfield then sold the building to GRE.

ARDEN REALTY, INC., LOS ANGELES

Managed leasing for a portfolio ranging from 18 up to 28 buildings in the Southern California market, consisting of approximately 3 million square feet.

Handled the technical and operations department for a security company after moving to

NYC. Dispatched all technicians, managed all paperwork related to clients and technicians.

SOUTH BAY (SYDOW) PROPERTY MANAGEMENT, HERMOSA BEACH

OWNER, 1990 – 1994

Started, created, and managed a property management company focusing on multi-family and commercial buildings in the beach cities of the South Bay for various owners. Handled all aspects of management including renting vacant units, collecting rents, and construction, and maintenance and repair issues. Managed all banking, vendor payments, contracts, and checking accounts for owners. Created and provided monthly reports for all owners. Sold the company in 1994.
