Presently I am working as an Executive Director (Technical) for the development of 70MW (AC) Grid Tied Solar Power Plant at Ishwardi, Pabna, Bangladesh JVC with Daehan Green Energy Co., Ltd., Korea and Pabna Solar Power Ltd., Bangladesh since 01.04.2022, worked as a Team Leader / Renewable Energy Expert in Nippon Koei Bangladesh Ltd. from 08.12.2021 to 15.03.2022, worked as DGM (Business Development) from 01.12.2015 to 30.04.2021 in MAX Group, worked as AGM (Power Division) from 20.10.2013 to 30.11.2015 in United Group, worked as Sr. Manager and Head of Tender & Solution Dept. from 01.12.2004 to 30.09.2013 in Energypac Power Generation Ltd. and worked as Manager (Project Promotion & Commercial) from 20.01.2000 to 30.11.2004 in Nirman Int. Ltd., total almost 21 (Twenty One) years of working experience in the field of Power & Energy Market in Bangladesh and 02 (two) years overseas working experiences in Middle East.

SPECIAL QUALIFICATION

I have multidisciplinary academic background in B. Sc. in Mechanical Engineering and MBA in Marketing, with extensive experience in energy and power sector. I have over 21 (twenty-one) years of professional experience in Power and Energy Sector in Bangladesh especially in Natural Gas, HFO, CCPP, Renewable & Waste Energy both in EPC & IPP on BOO basis project, especially for project development, management and implementation linking with livelihood activities, with core coordination responsibilities to work with different government institutes including line ministries, rural and urban local government authorities, national and international EPC/IPP private sector companies.

I have worked for ex-post project evaluation of different kinds of Power/Energy projects funded by different national/international agencies in Bangladesh since 2000. I have conducted survey with the External Evaluator, mainly by supporting information and data gathering from the Executing Agencies, other related parties and beneficiaries through a series of meetings and site surveys. I have vast experiences to understand and make international tendering process to make bid document or proposal preparations. Due to the nature of my previous and present job, I have a very strong relationship with different actors, including local government, development organizations, local government institutes and business entities of different sectors of Bangladesh.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES TO BE WORKED FOR EMPLOYER

1.Partner Management: Developing and retaining close working relationship with partner, GoB Authorities, who implement the interventions of Emergency Assistant Project.

2.Partner Capacity Development: Identifying partner capacity needs and arrangements of appropriate trainings in order to develop capacity of the partners for mainstreaming of the pilot models.

3.Stakeholder Liaison: Maintaining liaison between various government / non-government entities, Universities and Institutions.

4.Energy Policy: Develop the framework conditions required the renewable energy and energy efficiency and its mean of policy advocacy and supporting SREDA/Power Cell institutional development.

5.Core Intervention Management: Business model development and demonstration, Budget acquisition for mass dissemination.

6.Operational planning: Yearly planning of the intervention actions based on the result matrix in order to obtain the desired impacts as per program objectives.

7.Reporting: Manage the preparation of the project’s progress report, work-plans and other contractual deliverables.

8.Coordination, Communication and Networking: Represent as a focal person of BPDB/BREB/PGCB and Funding Agencies in the inter-sectorial collaboration and coordination along with Energy and Environment Technical Working Group and local authorities.

9.Design and implementation: Developing concept note, design and implement pilots in dissemination of Gas/HFO/Renewable/Waste energy technologies for businesses profit.

10.Preparation of the result chain: Drawing the result chain in order to achieve the indicators for attaining the program objectives.

11.Monitoring and Evaluation: Undertaking field visits to monitor progress of program activities. Ex-post evaluation of Gas/HFO/Renewable/Waste energy projects.

12.Country Planning Management: Strategic orientation of the program through engagement in Country planning working group.

13.Promotional activities: Developing promotional material such as leaflet, poster, video documentary, RHC video user guide and flyer etc.

14.Environment: Implemented different types of Gas/HFO/Renewable/Waste energy projects to reduce indoor air pollution, keep the environment pollution free, save the forest and reduce CO2 gas emissions.

Make study of the tender documents and prepare necessary correction for the tender document to make it suitable for MAX.

Keep liaison with the client, consultant and MAX’s foreign partners and make JV agreement with foreign partners as per tender requirement.

Participate the pre-bid meeting to raise the necessary clause as per MAX requirement.

Make ready the technical, commercial and financial offers as per requirement of PQ & RFP or Tender documents and to submit it in time as required.

Follow up the tender evaluation and maintain liaison with the members of the Tender Evaluation Committee.

Submit reply to clarification letters to the authority and adopt necessary measures so that the bid becomes qualified.

Help in getting design approval from the concerned department/authority.

Prepare, Update & Monitor all the Regulatory Affairs of our all Power Companies.

Make arrangement for Net Guaranteed Plant Capacity Test (DC Test) for each year in favor of MAX.
