PROFILE
A graduate student from the University of Botswana currently in possession of a Postgraduate Diploma in Education (specializing in Geography and Moral Education), also a Bachelor Degree in Arts (Humanities), specializing in Environmental Science and Sociology. A dependable individual who always strives for perfection in everything I do. My calm temperament and friendly demeanor has repeatedly made me the most eligible candidate for community projects. WORK EXPERIENCE
Gaborone International School (October 2016 up to date)
I am currently working as a teacher at Gaborone International School, teaching Geography, Development Studies and Travel and Tourism in High School. My duties include:
Planning lessons that teach specific topics
Teaching lessons in whole-group or small-group configurations
Assessing and evaluating student's abilities, strengths and weaknesses
Preparing students for standardized tests
Communicating student progress to parents
Developing and enforcing classroom rules
Supervising children in extracurricular activities (such as lunch, playground)
Conducting in-class activities
Maruje Community Junior Secondary School (February to May 2016)
Served as a temporary teacher teaching Social Studies and my duties included, preparation of lesson plans and scheme books before learning could take place. I also gave students homework’s and assignments which I then marked and gave them feedback. In addition to that, I provided guidance and counseling to students and even participated in the extra curriculum activities.
Philip Rampa limited (August 2015 to November 2015)
It is an organization that supplies protective wear clothes and I was serving it as a sales representative. My duties included, selling the company products to different companies by going around and distributing company profile and further explaining to customers the services that were offered. I also went to the extent of delivering goods to customers when they have placed an order with us.
Palapye Sub Land Board (May-June 2012 and May-July 2013)
Served the firm as an attaché in the Technical Department and my duties were, to produce sketch plans for residential plots as well as water points. I was also bound to capture spatial data into survey software for the production of shape files and production of lease sketch plans. I also went out to the fields to collect coordinate which were used to make these sketch plans.
