Career Objective:

I recently retired from Caterpillar Financial December 31, 2021, after a twenty-one-year career as a Senior Technology Manager. My intent is to pursue a life's ambition, to practice law or work in a related legal field. I start Nashville School of Law - fall of 2023.

Legal Analysis, National Fraternal Order of Police 2022 -Current:

The position is focused on legal research and West law is the primary research tool used. I research labor law matters at the state and national level. The research coves statutes, case law and secondary sources regarding collective bargaining, union agreements, memorandums of understanding and unfair labor practices. I use an IRAC method of analysis and complete the research tasks with a final memo closing any open items.

Healthcare Paralegal, Tennessee Attorney General's Office 2021 -2022:

Handle core paralegal duties, for example filing/calendaring various court and non-court documents in the firm's case/matter management system. I have a PACER account and perform basic legal research in West Law. Additionally, I draft notices, legal memos, work in federal and state courts, Adobe E-Sign management, process AR and check request. My proof reading and typing skills continue to improve as I support several attorneys. I am often complemented for my work ethic and inquisitive nature.

Senior Technology Manager, Caterpillar Financial July, 2000 - December, 2021:

Senior Technology Manager with Caterpillar Financial Nashville, TN. I globally managed financial loan-lease applications and had responsibility for data-infrastructure. My duties included managing over twenty employees and fifteen contractors. My scope of authority covered managing an 80M dollar-budget, global compliance/regulatory matters and cyber-security responsibilities.

IT Division Manager, Client Logic Jan, 1996 - July, 2000:

Senior Technology Manager Nashville, TN. I managed technology for global call-centers, data-centers and the integrated infrastructure. My duties included managing over twenty employees and multiple global contractors. My scope of authority focused on managing all data and voice services/operations for forty-four call centers located in eleven countries.
