Union County College 2010-2021

As the Dean of College Life, my duties include all aspects of managing a comprehensive athletic department as well as providing opportunities, on our three campus locations, to increase student involvement. In my eight years at Union County College, I have implemented a College Life Office on our Elizabeth Campus as well as implemented a Division III Softball, Women’s Soccer, Men’s and Women’s Track/Cross Country, Men’s Lacrosse, Women’s Bowling, Wrestling, and eSports.

Our athletic department has made great strides in improving the overall academic success of our student athletes. In 2016, we hired a full time Athletic Academic Advisor. Since the hiring of our academic advisor, we have had over 775 student athletes with GPA’s over a 3.0, and produced numerous NJCAA Academic All- Americans. Our student-athletes graduate at a significant higher rate than the regular student body. This is largely due to the programs that we have implemented while employed at the college. During the onset of the COVID epidemic, all fifteen of our athletic programs had over a 3.0 GPA, both spring and fall of 2020.

Along with my overseeing the athletic department, I oversaw all functions of a student’s college experience outside the classroom. This includes the Student Government Association, Clubs, and Organizations. I supervise the implementation of programing on all three of our college campuses.
