Bucks County YMCA Preschool Newtown PA (Dec 2019-Oct 2020)

Worked as the lead teacher in the A.M and in the afternoon, I worked as an Administrative Assistant to the Director. Creating a data base with all the children info and compiling files and keeping health records, emergency contact list. Sent mass email for program to the parents, to keep them up to date with activities in the classroom. Kept logs on all children’s progress reports and health records. Created calendar activities for age-appropriate children. Acted as a point contact between parents and teachers.

Administrative Assistant-NHS Human Services, Langhorne Pa (August 2012-2015)

Lead administrative assistant for the Executive Director as well as the 20 case managers in our facility. My daily activities include keeping up to date data entered on all of our consumers/clients in the data base, tracking times and units of the case workers, keeping all files in order and updating the charts daily. Incoming and Outgoing mail, maintain training logs, progress notes and safety standards. Order all of the office supplies for our office as well as the other two program offices at different locations.

Customer Service/Manager Administration. This was a curbside recycle company I started from the ground up. I was frustrated with many others that our local trash did not include recycle pick up. I started with 2 customers to selling the company after several successful years with over 2,000 customers and 40 business as well as churches and schools. I became a spokes person in our community for recycle pick up. I learned a lot of different aspects while running the company. Dealing with customer questions notifying the benefits of recycling, manage 4 employees which included payroll, conducted mail and phone communication to the customers. Learned how to market the business and plan out best route of travel for recycle pick up collection

Preschool Teacher- Lowes YMCA, Fairview Church Mooresville NC (august 2005-May 2010)

Worked part time

Substitute teacher during the school year of 2010. In the years prior I was co-teacher, then promoted to lead teacher for the 2-year-old and 3-year-old preschool class. Planned age-appropriate activities for a class size of 15 children, communicated with the parents daily of their child's progress, received ongoing training through the YMCA.

Dispatcher-Concord Police Department, Concord NC (January 1999 to 2002

911 operator for police, fire, and medic dispatcher. Received and fielded 911 emergency calls and calmly dispatched the calls to the appropriate authority as to the location of the incident, while keeping track of the incident. Communicating in a fast and effective manner. Duties also included data entry, phone communication, customer service, and knowledge of dispatch equipment, recordings, rapport with the local police and fire department and medic information.

Animal Control Customer Service Dispatcher, Charlotte NC (September 1996 to September 1998)

Provided customer service, answered incoming calls from the public and responded to questions related to animal control and their services. Informed public of adoption times and spay and neuter clinics. Dispatched an animal control officer, to the incidents, tracking time, and location and mapping best route for officer who is the closest to the call.

Dispatcher Bethel Police Department, Bethel Alaska (October 1992 to May 1994) hired as a 911 operator for the police and fire department as well as the medic dispatcher. Duties included answering emergency 911 phone calls, dispatching to the appropriate authorities to the location of the incidents. Kept track of the police, fire, and medic’s times and responses. Kept track of the call log regarding the on-going incidents, as well as the file of police reports, fingerprints, and typed summaries of crime logs for the local newspaper.

Part time- Employed while attending high school as a ticket agent at Alaska Airlines and Mark Air. Cashier experience at the Alaska Company grocery store, IGA grocery store and worked as a cashier at Target.
