Additional Information

All my training was learned on the job by founder/doctor and part owner of coastal eye associates, Dr Gregory Clariday. I learned sterile technique, how to circulate in OR, and scrub in for Bleph, Ptosis, and CO2 facial Resurfacing procedures preformed in the OR, by Dr. Gregory Clariday, very well known for his work in the Bay Area. I was taught all my testing skills in Retina (OCT, Photos, ordering and assisting injections such as Lucentis - Eylea- and Avastin) by Dr. Wynn McMullen and staff, as well as speciality work with cornia specialist Dr. William Lipsky, and Glaucoma specialist Dr. Duc Tran (HVF, Rnfl, pachemetry) all owners of Coastal Eye Associates. I handled all ordering for the our entire company, making spread sheets and sending to each location monthly while working deals with vendors for best pricing, as well as checked our Tech refill line and dealt with all our Reps, scheduling lunches for the doctors. I love working with people and the patients who were regulars in our office loved and asked for me personally. I also trained a number of certified technicians hired on to our staff two weeks prior to them working full time under one of our owner doctors. I'm also proud to say I worked with astronauts like Scott Kelly alongside Dr. Bob Gibson as part of a NASA case study (PBS did a special on this case study which will air this November) and I was honored to do not just Mr. Kelly's pre and post flight testing, but all NASA astronauts. I have become a refraction specialist, trained and certified by an optometrist and got certified in human research. I’m a go getter and always looking to learn something new.
