From July 2014 till August 2015, I worked in the kitchen; then, in late August I was promoted to a teacher in the infant room. In this capacity, I took care of infants ranging from 3 months to 15 months old. I was responsible for feeding and changing them. I also read books, played music and other infant related activities.

MARCH 2012 – JULY 2014

FLOATER/CHILD CARE PROVIDER, Grandmama’s house of preschool

I was a floater and worked with all age groups. I filled in when the teachers went on lunch, when they were absent, assisted with serving lunch and preparing for nap time. At the end of the day, I was responsible for attending to the teacher’s classroom until all the children were picked up.

GUEST SERVICES MANAGER, hasting’s entertainment

Shortly after beginning my role, I began opening and closing the store. I was also in charge of the training process for new employees in relation to the front part of the store. I also assisted with movie rentals, sales and cashier duties. On the nights that I closed the store, I was responsible for counting down the cash drawers as well as the safe and ensured that it was reconciled before leaving for the night.
