Director of Human Resources – Operations, Engineering & Supply Chain GENPAK, LLC Charlotte, NC

Strategic business partner reporting to the Vice President of Operations & Engineering. Responsible for all Human Resource functions for corporate based planning, four distribution centers, up to 10 manufacturing facilities and the Commercialization and R&D/Product Development engineering groups for this $550 million food packaging company. Managed a team of 22 Human Resource professionals across locations in TX, NY, NC, IN, OH, UT and AL.

Human Resource Highlights:

●Designed and implemented a new Hourly Time & Attendance Policy and Handbook that improved employee engagement through a reward-based system.

●Worked closely with Payroll Manager and Controller to improve data accuracy and labor cost financial reporting.

●Supported the restructuring and realignment of manufacturing into a smaller footprint with increased efficiencies and reduced costs. Merged 2 facilities in Alabama, 2 facilities in Utah and provided HR support for the decision to close the Ohio facility.

●Negotiated union contract in Columbus facility which improved employee relations. Later negotiated severance agreements for the facility’s closure.
