I became a Missouri Certified Provider on March 22, 2023.
I was the supervisor of 43-50 aides, making sure their schedules were fixed, if they were sick, if a client cancelled I had to try to fill the shift for them. I was also to keep track of the nurse visit files, the aides mileage, time off and if we had a priority 1 client making sure they had an aide 24/7.
Serve Link Home Care recently went to two different apps for the aides to use, I had to go to each county they have aides in and I trained them on ADP and WellSky. I have had to train over the phone because all of it is new to them and myself.
Other duties included getting authorizations off of Cyber, and other organisations.
Putting them in the systems, and trying to find an aide to fill the position.
I took calls no matter what the time or day from the aides, they would tell me what they needed and started to come into the office more frequently than ever before.
I did not miss work, if I was going to be gone, I made the hours off and planned it in advance. I have to be at an appointment every Tuesday afternoon by 3 PM, but I would make up the hours.
