Professional Experience

Graphic Design

2019-2021

As a sophomore in highschool I heavily relied on art to help me express myself. I started a graphic design business my sophomore year. I learned to communicate with people virtually and in person which helped me develop a certain etiquette I did not have before. Starting this business also allowed me to find the values in having a strong foundation to run a business.

Runway Reds

August 31st- March 15th 2020

Before the start of corona virus in 2020 I started a club at my school to help girls support themselves by

upcycling clothes and designing them later to be

presented in a fashion show. Since I was younger, I always wanted to be in photos and wanted to step out for myself. Due to my shy nature, I would never step out of the box or my comfort zone, which left many opportunities to rot. I thought this would be a great opportunity for young girls like me to find themselves. Lash Tech

2020-2021

As of right now, I am a lash tech. Being a lash tech teaches you how to service those in front of you and to deliver a good service. The most important part of being a lash tech is how your client feels during the process. It comes with a lot of trust that you have to earn which has taught me a lot about how to treat those around me.

Starbucks

Recently I decided to get a job at Starbucks, I wanted to be around more people and experience what it feels like to be an avid part of customer service. At Starbucks I realized the importance of multitasking while still being efficient which I actively struggled with.

Activities

Outside of school I often volunteer at Break a

Difference. Break a difference strives to make a

positive impact on less privileged communities. Some of the activities we have done consisted of making

blankets and several activities for kids in homeless shelters to keep themselves occupied.

I play the piano in my free time. From the age of 6-12 I took piano lessons and immediately fell in love with creating music. Music has had a special impact on my life because it created a safe space for me to go back to when times get rough.
