DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES AS SENIOR DESIGN ENGINEER:

Consulting with customers during part development process & co-design activity.

Completing part design changes on CAD system based on tooling reliability.

Prepare Design for manufacturing reports for all new projects to discuss with customers.

Initiating Mold Design to the designers and follow up with customer approval.

Consulting with other engineers for an improved mold design and part design.

Conduct internal design reviews with designers & manufacturing Team.

Distribute the work load based on designer’s capacity in order to meet targets.

Design & development of automotive interior parts like Intermediate frames, Fascia, Control Panels, Display panels, Housings, Décor Frames, Bezels, Push Bodies, Push Cap Buttons (Painted, 2K & 3K)

Detailing completed in 2D and 3D as necessary and reporting to customer, engineers and toolmakers of any changes and record appropriate notes and changes.

Design & Develop cams, slides, lifter mechanisms, electrical manifolds and core pulls (mechanical and hydraulic)
