Safe Return to On-Campus Learning at Bancroft School - Summer 2020
Collaborated with the Administrative Cabinet and Fusion Cell consultants to design and implement the plan for the safe return of students and faculty to in-person learning in the Fall of 2020. Developed COVID 19 safety protocols for in and outside of the classroom, campus management, and positive case management. Communicated all aspects of the plan in writing and on zoom to students, parents, and faculty.
The Sound School Mastery-based Learning — 2012 - 2020 Initiated and led a cross-disciplinary school team in development and implementation of a long-term plan to move from the traditional, Carnegie credit system to a Mastery-based system.
School Improvement Plan — 2015 - 2020
Led the school-based leadership teams developing the School Improvement Plan (SIP) with long and short-term goals, action plans, benchmarks, and data analysis. Ensured the SIP supported Mastery learning and included a cycle of continuous improvement. Diversity Recruitment Plan — 2014 - 2018
Worked with NHPS Mentors and Leadership, along with input from Sound School students and staff, to create a diversity recruitment plan to increase interest, awareness, and applications to the Sound School by New Haven Students of Color. Cultivated and supported a school culture and community where all students feel known, heard, and supported.
