Profitability Improvement:

Global costs reduced (10 locations) by $2m towards the effort of making the group more profitable.

Joint Venture:

Established a Joint Venture with GE Capital to provide BPO services for GE companies worldwide.GE invested $20m over and above their (GE) investment in the JV of $2m. Assisted in setting up a shared service center offshore in an Oracle environment for end-to-end financial services & HR services with GE as the world - wide initial customer and partner. Was the financial member of the team installing ERP for GE and iGATE companies/subsidiaries worldwide and setting up the support center in India.

IPOs:

Was in two IPO offerings. Assisted the CFO in one (NASDAQ), led and was accountable in one (Bombay & Bangalore).

Problem Resolution:

Advised the CFO in resolving payroll issues for an IT services company in four months and in streamlining the account payables and billing processes.

New Initiatives

Decided on new initiatives and new strategies as advisor to the CEO

AR Improvement

Reduced the DSO (Daily Sales Outstanding) from 125 days to 72 days by improving collections.

Managed the AR and AP. Made payments to vendors per agreement. Improved the AR aging so that the majority of outstanding were 0-30 and 31-60 days.
