As an experienced Branch Operations Manager who possesses extensive operations, Sales management, distribution management, inventory control management, extensive customer service expertise, purchasing and procurement knowledge, pick / pack and fulfillment environment, supply chain experience, best shipping and receiving practices, strong leadership skills and superb relationship management abilities, I feel I would be an ideal candidate for the position.

A review of my attached resume will quickly confirm to you that I am able to design and implement process improvements aimed at streamlining activities while at the same time driving up performance and quality. However, what my resume may not show is my level of knowledge regarding all aspects of branch management and the “intangibles” that have powered my success.

When I took over as Operations Manager for N Glantz Dallas location, the branch was in the lowest of percentile in all metric and measured categories. I was considered and respected as one of the top Ops managers in the company. Many of my standards and processes have been adopted as company standard. I am often called upon by corporate and other ops managers for advice and direction.

Some of my accomplishments since joining Glantz are:

• INCREASING SALES REVENUE FROM 5 MILLION TO JUST OVER 7

• RAISING PROFIT MARGIN FROM 16 TO 21%

• INCREASING CUSTOMER COUNT 156 TO 248

• IMPROVING OPERATING INCOME FROM A MISERABLE -9% TO 7%

• IMPROVING INVENTORY SURPLUS FROM 16% TO 5%

• 3 YEARS RUNNING “ CIRCLE OF EXCELLENCE” BEAT BUDGETED PLAN

• REDUCING INVENTORY FROM 850K TO 675K, WHILE MAINTAINING FILL RATES OF 98% AND HIGHER.

My experience to date has equipped me with a multitude of relevant skills in not only operations, sales management, purchasing, product management, all facets of inventory management and control related concerns, but also in running core areas of any operational setup. I consider myself to be open minded, and one who is capable of working in a fast paced and ever-changing environment and who is eager to learn about the latest platforms and technologies as they emerge. As a prolific trouble shooter and one who excels in the areas of process improvement, I am comfortable with tracking a problem or challenge right through from detection to resolution.
