Manager Infrastructure Protection – Physical Security Systems and NERC CIP-006 Compliance
Team manager and subject matter expert responsible for security system design, installation and maintenance at Exelon facilities in Chicago, Baltimore and the Philadelphia metro areas and Exelon Power sites in multiple US regions. Perform as the key liaison within Exelon Corporate Security for intercompany physical security systems and expansions with a wide scope of responsibility from NERC CIP006 physical security plan management to managing multi layered major projects. Provided systems oversight and direction to the Exelon Security Operations Center monitoring operations including systems management and response procedures as well as NERC regulatory procedural and alarm response.
Building the Organization:
Developed the NERC CIP006 Exelon Corporate Security team activities supporting Exelon's utility footprint including; ComEd, PECO, Exelon Power, BGE, PEPCO, ACE and DPL to assure key compliance milestones are met as well as driving physical security monitoring system enhancements providing enhanced compliance protections.
Authored the CIP006 Program and multiple procedures, technical job aids and post instructions for the Exelon Security Operations Center and trained staff in response process and protocols.
Designed and implemented multiple companywide management model procedures including access control system user access/audit and NERC physical systems standardization for hardware and testing requirements within the NERC regulatory areas.
