Director of Business Development
Hired as one of six principal officers to establish a foothold in the healthcare and college-university facilities markets and develop new contracts and services in existing markets. Set IHC record for new-repeat business, ensuring a three-year backlog of projects. Sold 11 projects valued at $400M ($6M in profit). 50% of contracts won via lump sum (low) bid; 50% through negotiated procurement based on qualifications and references.
Managed pre-construction activities for a replacement hospital at Sherman Health ($325M, 650,000 ft2), including a six-story patient tower, a cancer center, an emergency department and a 15-acre geothermal lake used to heat and cool the facility. JV with Barton Malow.
