WORK EXPERIENCE

January 2022- Present : Site engineer Hyoung and CO (E.A) Ltd, Construction of Mombasa southern Bypass road project in Kwale County

(Mwache to Tsunza road section)

The project scope involves:

10km flexible pavement construction – Road pavement works

Installation of road furniture

Construction of bridges

Assembly of aggregate crushing plant (125ton/hr).

Assembly and setting up of an asphalt batching plant ( 100ton/hr)

Here I am involved in the day today construction works relating t o the project whereby my duties involve;

Preparation of project drawings

Preparation of project reports

Project planning and management

Quality control

Overall project supervision and execution.

March 2021- January 2022 : Site engineer Hyoung and CO (E.A) Ltd, design and Construction of Nyerere – Mbaraki road in Mombasa.

(EPCcontract) the project scope involved:

1.1Km Rigid concrete pavement

1Km long drainage system for Mombasa city

Here I was involved in the day today construction works relating t o the project whereby my duties involve;

Preparation of project drawings

Preparation of project reports

Project planning and management

Quality control

Overall project supervision and execution.

June 2018- March 2021 : Site engineer Hyoung and CO (E.A) Ltd, design and construction of Kipevu road Mombasa (EPC contract). The project scope involved:

1.4Km Rigid concrete pavement

40m Bridge over railway line

3no. Oil pipeline

Here I was involved in the day today construction works relating t o the project whereby my duties involved;

Preparation of project daily reports.

Preparation of project drawings.

Survey works.

Project planning and management.

Supervision of project subcontractors.

Ensuring quality control throughout the construction phase i.e. concrete quality control.

Preparation of BOQs.

Supervision of all structural works.

January 2017- April 2017 : Attached to Kenya Rural Roads Authority (KeRRA), Nairobi Region where I was involved in the construction and supervision Of various roads around Nairobi area. From this attachment I acquired various skills including:

January 2016 – April 2016 : Attached to Interconsult Engineers Ltd where I worked under Various engineers and was involved in the design and supervision of various structures. From this attachment I acquired various skills including:
