BETCO, Inc., Statesville, NC 2010-2013

Project Manager Lead estimator for $1.5 million Russian Pig Farm proposal (12 Buildings) that required the use of Word and Excel, Figuring out Truss size / weight and cost, location of Doors, Ventilation, shipping cost and determining correct steel panels. The building uses included breeding, farrowing (pregnant sows), nursery (sows giving birth) and finishing (pigs older than 3 months) with sizes ranging from 40’ x 200’ to 65’ x 500’.

Zapata Engineering, Charlotte, NC 2007-2008

Project Manager Military design-build project (Ft. Jackson, Columbia, SC), estimated at $950,000, was for the Army Corps and included plan preparation, permit and utility coordination for almost 2 miles of water, gravity sewer and force main. Managed plan preparation and QA/QC for utility layout and design, profiles, specifications, permit applications (sanitary, water, swppp) details, erosion control, staff supervision and budget reporting.

WSP-Sells, Mooresville, NC 2006-2007

Project Manager $2.7 million Cottonwood Village (Lincoln County, NC) development involved the final plans, with permits, specifications and cost estimate for an 11 acre site consisting of a bank, a restaurant and a light industrial building. Managed water, sanitary and storm layout and design, permit applications (water, sanitary and erosion), preparation of plans (grading, road plan and profiles, water, sanitary, storm, specifications and details, erosion control and traffic control), cost estimate and bid preparation.

Manhard Consulting, Lombard, IL 2004-2005

Project Manager $7.2 million Brier Hill Crossing Subdivision project (Pingree Grove, IL) involved the preliminary and final plans with cost estimate for a 175 acre development consisting of 410 single family lots. Managed earthwork, storm layout and design, water main layout, sanitary layout, detention design, permit applications and preparation of plans (grading, plan and profiles, utilities, storm water prevention, signing and striping and details), cost estimate and specifications.

Rogina and Associates, Joliet, IL 1996-2003

Project Manager $2.5 million Ward Farm Subdivision project (Shorewood, IL) involved the storm water management report, plans and cost estimate for a 150 acre development that consisted of 310 single family home sites and 3.5 miles of streets in the Village of Shorewood. Managed storm and detention design, earthwork, hydraulic studies, permit applications and preparation of plans, cost estimates and specifications. Project Design Engineer $3 million Glencoe Road-Phase II project (Glencoe, IL) included the plans, specifications, and estimate for the resurfacing and bridge replacement of approximately 3 miles of roadway (IDOT District #1). Project Manager 2610 Station Road (Abbotsford, BC) consists of 33 Lots that included the design and city review of utilities (Sanitary, Water and Storm), New Road Way, Curbs / Sidewalk, Lighting, Grading, Detention (Conc. Storage tanks) and Retaining Walls.

Zapata Engineering, Charlotte, NC

Project Manager Military design-build (Military Ocean Terminal, Sunny Point, NC), estimated at $1.2 million, included a Walking Mall (gazebo, benches, lighting, landscape and stamped, decorative sidewalks) and parking lot expansion. Managed subcontractor coordination (surveying, geo-technical and landscaping), plan preparation, permit applications (storm and erosion), staff supervision and budget reporting.
