Head Women’s Tennis Coach

Managed all aspects of a NCAA Division III women’s tennis program and oversaw a budget of

$26,000. Coordinated schedules with other college coaches and kept members of the team safe during away matches or events. Directed annual fall tournament with over 65 participants and scheduled annual training trips to Orlando Florida and Austin Texas.

Average of 60-70 kids, ages between 8-17 years old, enrolled in each JTT season (fall, winter, spring).

Managed all aspects of a NCAA Division II women’s tennis program including fundraising, budgeting, coordinating travel, and alumni relations. Served as member of NCAA Division II Women’s ITA Midwest Ranking Committee which analyzed team and individual player results to rank the top ten teams and top twenty players for the DII Midwest region

Assisted head coach to New England Collegiate Conference championships in consecutive years for men’s and women’s team, 2013 and 2014. Responsibilities involved communicating multiple emails to prospective recruits detailing school news, season updates, notes on application process, etc. Earned Master’s in Organizational and Professional Communications and wrote a 70 page thesis discussing research on how collegiate athletes interpret positive, negative, and neutral body language in a competitive scenario. Was a featured alum of the Graduate Program due to my research and competence within my role as a coach and graduate student. Responsible for the well-being of 120 campers per week including on-court teaching and coaching as a senior instructor. Supervised and scheduled assignments for 16 counselors, organized off court activities, coordinated pick up drop off times for parents of day campers and monitored overnight campers in Stanford dormitories to ensure they were safe and behaving responsible at all times.
