I am seeking to advance in my career by utilizing the knowledge and expertise from my 38 years of experience. I have been a Registered Nurse since 1985. I have had the opportunity to work in diverse areas that have helped me to become the critical thinker, think outside the box, and well-rounded experienced nurse that I am. I work closely with American Medical Technology’s Wound Consultant with our long-term care residents’ wounds and treatments. I teach nurses and doctors about wounds and feel very comfortable with teaching and mentoring.
Serve as the certified Infection Control Preventionist. Oversee antibiotic stewardship and report to the QA team and physicians regarding antibiotic use. We use the McGeer Criteria for overseeing the infection criteria.
