Business Analyst Senior

INTERVIEW INTRODUCTION

My name is Walter C. Nwalu. I am a Senior Business Analyst with over 9 years of experience in the

development and implementation of innovative business processes and system solutions. I have

extensive work experience and knowledge in Business Analysis and have worked with different

industries such as healthcare, Insurance, service and retail Industries

I am currently on a Project with MYRIDEDOT.COM. This was a User Interface Enhancement project, aimed at improving the existing user interface of MYRIDEDOT.COM web pages. It also included improvements on some of the existing business processes and Implementation of new business processes Agile methodology was utilized due to the complexity and unstable requirements for this

project

Role

I was involved in requirements elicitation through interviews, questionnaire, focus groups, process

modeling and use case/stories. I documented the requirements into user stories and obtained approvals of the business. I was able to effectively communicate with stakeholders and helped

to resolve feedback, questions and enhancement requests. I put together process flows which helped

Identify loopholes, opportunities and initiates changes within processes and ensures compliance with

business standards.

Methodology

From an Agile methodology perspective, in each sprint we followed the process of

· Conducting the Planning meeting which is done before the implementation of the project.

Here the product owner explains the complete project to the team including the backlogs

· Conducting daily stand up meetings which involves the entire scrum team, we discuss tasks

from the previous day, what is outstanding. This meeting is usually conducted by the Scrum

master but sometimes I wear the Hat when he isn’t available

· Conducting sprint review meetings which involves giving feedback on the progress made so

far to the product owner to review and see if there’s any amendments to be made

· Conducting a retrospective meeting at the end of every sprint discussing strengths and

weakens and what needs to be improved on going forward.

Testing

In the testing phase, i was involved in the unit testing, integration testing, system and UAT testing of the

programs created by the developers.

I am currently training/knowledge transfer and supporting end-users since we went live..
