I just finished training, & had started being an order taker when I had an accident. During training, there were 3 of us. The management was trying to place us individually with trainers. Lunch rush hit & I took the initiative to collect the money at the drive thru & get their order out while trying to be fast & efficient. On Nov. 19, 2021, I had accident on the property & had to take a leave of absence until I was well enough to return to work.

I was trained in New Braunfels so that I could work a new store in Selma. Once I got to the Selma store, I opened the stored at 5 a.m. I cooked breakfast tacos, to be ready by 6 a.m. I ran the kitchen, rang up customers food. I prepped the low-boy of fresh vegetables, salsas. I kept the kitchen in clean & running order. I also had to prepare lunch & sell lunch items; I ran the kitchen myself most days & closed the store when operations closed early due to lack of business. I handled the register & pay outs for items that were ordered for the store. I kept fresh meats on the warmer, always rotating the meats or breakfast items. I believe selling & serving in fresh food all day. I was reliable, & dependable.

I was trained to run Prep area. I was responsible to make sure that the front of house, & the back of house had salads, fruit cups, & parfaits ready to sell, had prep fridge stocked with variety of salads, chicken wraps, fruit cups, parfaits filled, ready to sell. I was responsible for keeping low-boy filled & stocked & rotated with fresh vegetables & fruit. I had to clean & use a chopper to prep romaine, tomatoes, & lemons. I learned to use the slicer to chop or slice chicken for soups & wraps. I stocked the area of salad bowls, fruit cups. If I had the time, I’d help with washing dishes, putting them away. I helped with getting macaroni & cheese out of oven so it wouldn’t burn. I was responsible for placing produce order, & writing on dry erase board items for the truck order. I created a system for items in the fridge to be in containers, so that they would not spill to the bottom, & I put in place that every container in the fridge, was clearly labeled & facing front with handles for easy access. It helped if any inspectors came through, there was no question as to if the items were properly tagged. It is a very fast paced operation & I took pride in my work,
