Work directly with Insurance Adjusters to negotiate final scopes of damaged property. Sell, estimate, schedule & manage all home improvements from insurance claims to remodels. I handle all consulting for the employees & owner to help grow, improve and teach the aspects of construction.
2006-2011 Project Manager/ Tax Credit Developer & Construction Company, Woda Construction, Inc.
Managed 9-14 projects from 4-5 states, which range from a 48 unit apartment re-hab, 64 units, 4-story apartment building, 50 units with multiple building apartment complexes and 32 – 40 single family homes. I handle all of the construction project close outs as well as the warranty (averaging 1200 units/yr), I performed all of Management’s Capitol Improvements, insurance claims and consult all of the property, district & regional manager’s for issues that arise. I work with the front line development team to help select and execute Civil Engineer contracts to ensure the company receives what is necessary. I perform site visits to work with the Civil Engineers for cost effective site construction to blueprint evaluation for cost effective materials and to ensure all scopes work within the plans. I value engineer both the civil plans and Architectural plans to ensure the construction sequences will work. I also create the construction schedules, budgets, negotiate and execute contracts, scopes of work, material purchasing, invoicing, purchase orders and change orders (subcontract & owner) while working with the Director of Field Operations and Superintendents from unforeseen site and construction situations to maintaining the schedules.
