Project 1: Pillar 2c Data Transformation : As part of the data transformation, MUFG Bank is initiated the bigger transformation of the data automation, scope is to automate the 800 + Risk data reports required by higher management to understand to the key risk to the bank, The key risk area’s include Operational risk and Losses, Model risk, Credit risk, Third Party risk, Consumer risk,Wholesale risk, Information risk .As most of the risk data preparing through manual process, Data Transformation project is tracking all the manual business process and documenting the current state and design the future state requirements for data and report automation form the multiple source systems .Also identify the key data elements to build the central DWH. central DWH to help the bank to avoid all the manual effort through technology to receive accurate numbers to understand the risk factors of the bank. The Data Management Integrated Control Framework(“DMICF”) represents heightened standards related to the BCBS 239 RDAR Framework. The full implementation of the DMICF heightened standards across the 3 layers of the EDMA for the BCBS 239 Scope(28key Reports, i.e., Tier 1 Reports) which includes CCAR, FR-Y 14M, 2052A is progressing in phases and targeted to be completed in line with our BCBS 239 alignment target in dates.
