Reactor Electrician United States Navy – 01/2001 to 01/2007
Responsible for providing Technical Assistance for all complex troubleshooting and corrective/preventative maintenance performed in the Reactor Electrical Division. Responsibilities also included auditing of procedures, correcting system discrepancies, and overseeing the qualification of 93 Reactor Electricians. Supervised and assisted 23 technicians in the maintenance of generators, motors, motors controllers, transformers, load centers, ABT’s, and all other electrical equipment in Number 1 Nuclear Power Plant. Responsible for writing the PM schedules, coordinating maintenance with mechanical divisions, and writing formal work packages. Heavy emphasis on training junior personnel in proper maintenance practices.
