Job Responsibilities

Prepares the wellhead tower for routine /planned maintenance, carry out infield oil/water and gas cleaning and intelligent pigging operations

Performs first line routine servicing greasing, lubricating, adjusting glands, tightening loose connections, changing filters, producing weekly chemical stock/ consumption reports

Supervise wellhead operations involving 1st and 2nd line wellhead maintenance, slickline, coiled tubing, wireline painting and buffing on the wellhead platform.

Inspect the wellhead towers on daily basis to implement field changes, collect oil/water samples, conduct pressure surveys, prepare multi-phase flow meter and ensure efficient operations according to prescribed conditions

Accompany the instrument / electrical technicians to brief the defects/faults of the wellhead tower equipment’s to ensure safe preparation of the equipment for planned/breakdown maintenance and test such repaired equipment to ensure smooth and efficient operation

Routine checks on pressure gauges, flow rate and status / conditions of wells, wellheads, and Xmas trees.

Inform supervisor for the replenishment of stores stock items/chemicals necessary for operating the wellhead tower

Assist production operators in well optimization
