Job Title: Project QA/QC Manager / OSSQ QA/QC Manager

Duties: Responsible for ensuring that all subcontractors followed approved QC Manuals, jurisdictional codes and project specifications per contract. These duties included but were not limited to civil, steel, mechanical, coatings, piping and electrical inspections making sure that testing per applicable codes and ASTM's were being followed.

Worked several locales to include Nuclear (DOE), Wind, USACOE, Power and gas plants.

Responsible for coordinating of inspections with Kiewit Field QCI’s and NDE subcontractors.

Attention to detail was stressed among staff to ensure very stringent vendor schedules with little inspection time was not a liability.

It was my primary responsibility to ensure that all aspects of jurisdictional codes, job specifications and general notes were being followed by all subcontractors on various jobsites.

Part of my duties also included all mechanical / piping inspections and accumulating documentation for turnover packages for Client.

2001-2006 H.B. Zachry Construction San Antonio, TX

Job Titles: Quality Control Inspector / Quality Control Supervisor

Duties: Performed in process/final inspection activities of civil, structural steel, piping systems, pipe supports, component supports, welding, paint coatings, training of new welders and installation of insulation.

Interface and assisted pre-walk downs prior to hydrostatic testing with client’s inspection representatives.

Performed PMI (Positive Material Identification) of various metal alloys.

Accumulated supporting documentation for turnover code packages.

The testing of welders arriving onsite to ensure proper WPS would be followed throughout the projects and the training of new welders.

Reviewed X-ray film before turnover to client as well as coordinating and performing Ultrasonic Testing of moment welds.

Inspected the bolting of structural steel to AISC and job specifications.

Instructed welding classes in the evening in FCAW, GTAW and SMAW.
