Experience:

EXL Risk Services: February 2023- Current Using experience from years in the Insurance industry in both personal and commercial lines, I have recently decided to take a role as a Commercial Insurance Inspector to step away from the sales role. Providing field inspection and promptly generating reports to summarize the overall risk of assigned commercial files has been an easy transition.

Country Financial: June 2021 – March 2023 After achieving an agency owner opportunity I immediately began by qualifying for Country Club Contest within the first 8 weeks. My Role has transitioned from W-2 employee to full 1099 business owner. I am solely responsible for all marketing, sales, service, and business planning. Key moments include, opening a brick-and-mortar office, participating heavily in community engagement. Some of these tactics include food for School Teachers, BNI President of the Striclty Business Chapter, Real Men Wear Pink Ambassador, and multiple volunteering opportunities with Meals for the Elderly and the American Cancer Society. Upwards of 180 households written since opening including Auto, Home, Life, Umbrella, Commercial, and Farm. While we do not market Health products with Country, I have experience putting those coverages in effect with prior work experiences.

State Farm: January 2021- June 2021 Stepping back into the P&C role as a sales representative for a State Farm Agent. This position focused on sales procurement while also dealing with daily service expectations such as adding vehicles, filing, claims, and billing inquiries. Participated in the State Farm Agency career track program. Took a new hire under my wing In regards to sales and marketing. Both himself and I were producing $60-70,000 in premium per month after a leads program overhaul. Achieved award for writing $100,000 raw new business in 5 months. Existing Household production did not qualify for this award.

Orchid Orthopedic: September 2017- January 2021 Current Position(s): Quality Control - Product Release Technician/ Quality Inspector II/ Quality Engineering Tech. A cumulative knowledge from each aspect of the Quality Dept. Including Engineering has enabled me to significantly affect overall quality while assisting in the company’s high pace work load. I am currently solely responsible for the creation of engineering documents pertaining to Quality and particularly to Product Release including: Certificate of Conformance (CofC), Customer Facing Packet (CFP), creation of excel format Vendor Data Templates from print, First Article inspection data per QAC, FA book required by customer.

Equis Financial- Independent Life and Health Broker: February 2017- January 2021. I have worked to establish a sustainable customer base with a Life and Health Insurance Agency. This business was conducted by me alone in the field with clients and out of my office at home. I have to cover all costs associated with this business and plan ahead for consistent production. I was able to produce several Life contracts over these months and have also recruited others who wanted to become independent agents to make commission-only successfully through planning and goal setting. Starting August 2017, I was promoted to Direct Manager, in charge of leading and mentoring new Agents to also establish their own Brokerage to build a book of business.

State Farm: March 2016- March 2017. I went to work for a brand new Agent opening his office, Beau Brooks, to establish his permanent contract with State Farm. After he accomplished that contract in January 2017 I proceeded with my own Agency Plans. After working and meeting production goals, and selling over 300 policies in this year of employment, many of my work ethics were incorporated into his daily routine for team members such as: Independence and initiative, strict adherence to call numbers being at 30 outbound calls per day, professionalism with a business image, and the ability to effectively work with and motivate other team members on a daily basis.

Allstate Insurance: October 2014 - August 2015. After an initial interview and IQ assessment, I was called to come back to Higdon Agencies for an extended Win-back call interview. Afterwards, I was asked to work as a producer for Michael. Licensed for Property and Casualty by January I began learning the basics of the insurance sales industry. I quickly learned I was cut out for sales. Building on already honed customer service skills, I was able to adequately protect cars, homes, and risks altogether, while also advising on financial plans to maintain these types of coverages.

Walmart Pharmacy: June 2012 – September 2013. I was a certified pharmacy technician required to fill prescriptions, input written and electronic prescriptions, as well as order drugs according to inventory and personal need of our customers. Study and training led to a vast knowledge of drug names and their effects for certain symptoms which allowed me to better serve people as well as my employer.

Atrion Medical: November 2010 – July 2011. An operator had strict standards for inspection due to finished parts being used in the medical field. As an Inspector I inspected parts for defects before boxing and processing. A shot was collected each hour to turn in for quality control. Also learned the Material Handling and Mold Setting Positions.

U.S. Census Bureau: April 2009 – June 2010. After a standardized test, I was called to work for the census as a temporary job to determine our nation’s population. As an Enumerator, I was responsible for determining location of homes from a geographic map, then collecting information from people living there if so. By oath, I swore to keep all personal data safe and away from harm under Title 13 of the U.S. Constitution.

Education: Graduate of Arab High School. Courses from Wallace State Community College in Precision Machining and Business -15 hours

20 pre-licensing hours per line of insurance which license is held for: Property, Casualty, Life and Health. Totaling 80 hours

103 additional hours of Business/ Insurance Continuing Education.
