The data from all 162 games for each team and season will be exported from flat files to the appropiate SQL Database tables. All teams and their players can be searched and displyed by season in a dasboard by like interface using C#.

Many in-house applications had to be moved from VB win applications to .net C# web applications, along with taking Access databases to SQL Server using ETL functionallity. Database performance tuning, backup/restore, profile/tracing. Writing T-SQL Stored Procedures. One application was a uniform order and tracking system utilizing the Web. This required asp.net C#, Telerik .Net Controls and SQL databases. Telerik was used, because of its unique access to SQL data through a grid like Front-End control. These grid controls provide editing capabilities, sorting filtering and batch processing among a host of other functions. I also developed an application that could be used on company furnished ipads.

* My responsibilities include maintaining all database objects in house and on the web. GHP’s membership is maintained using an association software package called “IMIS”. IMIS uses a SQL server backend and a desktop as well as web client front-end. All members, events, committees, relationships, etc., are maintained through this software application. I have developed a .net (c#) web interface for event registrations including payments using PayPal. I’ve also created a web service for providing data to a 3rd party company providing web content and a RFP service. I have written many applications to serve our users and members. These applications have all required SQL T-SQL stored procedures and C# back-end code. I also wrote the login code using SQL authentication using GUIDs.

* In order to perform the above mentioned tasks or projects, the following SQL skills were used:

* Export data from other applications (Access, Excel, CSV and tab delimited) and import this data to SQL (ETL).

* Write complex views (T-SQL queries), using inner/outer joins and unions, to deliver specific data from multiple tables. ).

* Write stored procedures (T-SQL) using multiple input parameters, to allow user input to filter the results.

* Write MS SQL jobs to run SQL scripts (T-SQL) that will perform scheduled tasks as required.

* Design and build MS SQL tables to store related data, making use of primary key constraints, indexes and foreign key constraints when necessary.

* Develop SSRS reports to supply data in a printed document.

* Some limited SSIS was used to automate tasks.

* Performed most DBA tasks, such as backup, restore, optimize, replication and maintenance tasks.

There are approximately 60 clients and each installation is unique and installed on the client’s servers within their firewall. The front end is a web based intranet, using classic asp, javascript, css, ajax and some .net. The back-end is MS SQL Server 2000 and 2005, making use of T-SQL stored procedures and user defined functions, to generate result sets for display purposes, update underlying tables, log user actions, authentication users, and send email in response to requests from the front-end. Most, if not all, front-end programming is accomplished with Visual Studio 2003 or 2005 and Visual Source Safe. SQL Analyzer is used for all database scripting. Redgate’s software is used extensively for comparing database structure, as well as data.

* I was responsible for the design and development of an Online RFP for the Telecom industry. The responsibilities included, the creation of a back-end database and an active server page front-end. The product required three integrated interfaces (Client, Vendor, and Maintenance). I created the back-end using an MS SQL server database. The front-end consisted of Active Server Web pages consisting of VBScript, HTML, CSS, JavaScript and other technologies where required. Security was accomplished by using Login and password identifications qualified through back-end T-SQL stored procedures.

* Our product provides online reporting tools for evaluating credit card transactions for clients that serve several merchants. Reports consist of active server pages serving as the front end and Microsoft SQL server database as the back-end. It was not unusual for their database to handle millions of records. My main focus for the company is their Fraud product. I upgraded an existing fraud package, by allowing risk investigators to select from unique merchant criteria and then select from several transaction parameters, to query the database and alert them of potential fraud. Most of the front-end work utilizes VBScript, JavaScript and HTML. I currently write many SQL stored procedures, to provide the data for the reports. We are currently using Dot Net and C# to develop front-ends for our newer customers.

Designed and developed active server based applications supporting full B2B functionalities for North America and Latin America.

* Designed and developed a web-based product, to replace an older existing one that used a CD based delivery method. It was built on an MS Access 2000 database with a Visual Basic 6.0 front-end. I converted the back-end from MS Access 2000 to MS SQL Server 7.0/2000 using T-SQL stored Procedures and the front-end from Visual Basic 6.0 to active server pages using VBScript, JavaScript and HTML.

* Developed a client maintenance module for the purpose of maintaining client contract information, login security, and generating usage and billing reports. The program provided a search engine used to setup client access to their purchased portion of the database.

* Provided a comprehensive data entry program for researchers, both internal and external to the company. These researchers interviewed companies and entered data appropriate to their industry.

* Provided a multilevel search engine used by the client to generate company profiles, mailing lists, aggregate summaries, and downloads of pre-selected data.

* All, if not most, of the above programs utilized an intranet environment with Active Server front-end and SQL 2000 back-end. The majority of functionality was written with SQL stored procedures. I designed and built all tables with the appropriate primary keys and indexes, to enhance performance and integrity (Third Normal Form where possible). Views were deployed to access these tables from the front-end.
