To whom it may concern,

I am pleased to present my resume to you for consideration as an employee with your Company. I have completed three years towards a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education and Early Childhood Development. With my determination to give one hundred percent and to exceed expectations in all that I do, I am confident in my ability to be an asset to your team. I currently work for Talen Energy in Security. I have four years’ experience working here at Susquehanna, which includes my time in Security both, on site and off site as a contractor, and with Effluents during outages. I was the Security Site Supervisor offsite, under Allied Universal, before joining Talen full time. I believe I’m qualified for this position and encourage you to consider my application enclosed.

As my resume will demonstrate, I have experience in many fields and feel I will be a perfect fit. I am looking for a career with opportunities for advancement, as well as one that can promote my interests. I have always shown an interest in working here at Susquehanna, but growth means change. I enjoy being a part of a team effort, all aspects of Education as well as criminal justice, health care and many more fields. I have a desire to learn and experience new things in the hope of advancing my long-term goal of acquiring a successful, fulfilling, and challenging career that also allows me to enjoy and experience time with my loved ones. I feel that I can learn quickly and efficiently in the skills needed to help you. My strong will, determination, organization, and driven personality will ensure my success in this position. I also excel at following directions, being a leader and taking initiative as well as working together to meet a common goal. I am confident in most computer programs such as Workday, NIMS, Actionway, Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Google Docs, and more.

I am pleased to tell you that my interest in making this change is profound. I grew up in this area, living in Bloomsburg for all my life and now reside in Wapwallopen. Susquehanna has held an interest to me ever since my very first bring your child to work day and only grew after my first outage. It’s time to expand my experience, hopefully with your company. I love learning and sharing that with others. I look forward to, with great anticipation, hearing from you regarding my application. I cannot wait to discuss with you the ways that I can contribute to your team.

Thank you in advance for your time and consideration.

Sincerely,

Kristy L. Mausteller
