Responsibilities: testing of BODs, Oil and Grease and TPH, bacteria, fecals, microbiology, TSS and TDS on public, industrial, and commercial water. Working on our computer Lablite system and maintaining daily reports and lab book logs in conjunction with EPA and DEP guidelines.

Knowledge of the municipal wastewater industry and drinking water and the regulations impacting the business with the knowledge of company policies and procedures and practices of waste water treatment process and operational areas. Knowledge of potable and non-potable water systems in a power plant setting. Aids in water quality for the units and provide quality drinking water to our staff. Water sampling and field data are part of the responsibilities along with safely tagging out equipment for maintenance work and communication skills to work with other staff. Member of the Station Emergency Response Team (SERT) with Hazwopper, confined space, and industrial fire fighting training.
