I am the on-site manager for a 200,000 square foot Distribution Center in Braselton, GA. with 7 direct reports and 70 - 3PL partners. My responsibilities also include all Inbound, Outbound, Inventory control, Safety, and expense control for the DC. This DC is responsible for shipments to 375 out of 1,500 Petco Stores.

2019-2021 Assistant General Manager of Distribution Center Bass Pro DC / Macon, GA

I am responsible for the development, safety and growth of the management team members and Bass Pro Outfitters in the 500,000 sq. ft. Macon Distribution Center. Direct reports 11 and indirect reports over 500 outfitters. My responsibilities also include all Inbound and Outbound merchandise, the Gun Cage, Ammo Room, Storage, Picking and 3 rd Party divisions. We Distributed to Cabela’s and Bass Pro stores on the East coast. I hold a Federal Firearm License.

2017-2019 Operations Manager of Distribution Center Academy Sports + Outdoors / Jeffersonville, GA

I directed and developed 13 direct reports and over 335 indirects at the 1.8 million sq. ft. distribution center that supported e-commerce, new stores, and store replenishment for the east coast. Ohter responsiblties inclueded Safety, Development and Performance for hard goods, Bulk, Gun Cage, Ammo Room, Boat Yard, Returns and Shipping.

2013-2017 Senior Operations Manager

Chico’s FAS Inc . / Winder, GA

I directed and developed 16 leadership members in DC1 and DC2, and 253 hourly employees on the Winder Campus for B shift. The Winder campus houses the distribution center for Chico’s FAS, White House/Black Market, and Boston Proper, with distribution to the USA, Virgin Islands, Mexico and Canada. We shipped e-commerce and Direct to store.

1994-2013 Assistant General Manager of Distribution Center Dollar General / Ardmore, OK

Dollar General Corporation Leadership that consisted of the following positions: In the 1.35 million sq. ft. distribution center, serving 1,480 stores with an annualized carton volume at 72 million cases, I was an on-site leader. My responsibilities included the safety and development of a team totaling 45 exempt and 770 non-exempt employees across four shifts. I was director of a project team that completed a $23 million expansion in 2005, which included the installation of a dual high speed Dematic Sorter while maintaining a live environment and service schedule to all stores. We successfully promoted four Operations Managers, three Managers and 7 Level 1 Supervisors for the distribution network. My management responsibilities also included P&L, Budget and Inventory Accuracy for $86 million.

Special projects incentive teams.

Implemented freezers and cool storage for candy in Ardmore, OK.DC. This was to reduce 1.8 million in drop shipment charges and lead the distribution of short shelf life consumables such as Fresh bread, pastries, and other perishable within a 12 hour receipt window to 670 DG stores.

With the strong growth of stores in the United states, I assisted in implementation of Fresh Facility Distribution Centers to deliver fresh foods to all DG Markets such as eggs, bread, milk, and other perishable items. I Supported an implementation team to design and execute the Rolltainer picking and shipping via Plan-o-gram to all DG stores to reduce freight and payroll cost by 18% per store.

Assistant General Manager of Distribution Center

At the 850,000 sq. ft. serving 900 stores, my duties included the development of a new management staff. I was responsible for training all exempt employees and the grand opening of the 1.2 million sq. ft. Northeast Distribution Center. I was also responsible for the implementation of a new safety team and training programs. I developed and implemented new standard operating procedures for the 7.2 catalyst upgrade. I provided staff development for 222 non-exempt employees, leadership development candidates and Level I Supervisors. I also managed 80 non-exempt employees in the seasonal warehouse. I was assigned to a six-month project in Villa Rica, GA to close the New Store Opening Distribution Center.

Distribution and Marking Services Inc. / Charlotte, NC I managed 9 exempt and 176 non-exempt employees. I was responsible for Customer Service, Receiving, Product Price Marking, Shipping and the day-to-day operations in this third-party logistics company providing services for TJ Maxx, Sears, Montgomery Ward, Foot Locker and G. Fox. Helping with the design of the conveyor and racks system for the new annex building was a part of my duties.
