Compensation: Researched and developed company compensation program for all levels of staff on a $9,600,000. payroll. Set company-wide budgets for nearly 40 locations for all operation levels. Conducted annual industry wage surveys. Oversight of payroll for entire company using Paylocity System. Previously using ADP. Multi-site. All levels of (300+) staff: exempt & non-exempt.

Legal: Successfully served as company representative for all unemployment, workers compensation, and any EEOC hearings. Responsible for established company stance and providing all necessary documentation under my management.

Workers Compensation: Managed entire process while partnering with Third Party Administrators and Managed Care organizations to ensure claims are properly handled, processed and settled. Managed to save the company $600,000+ in premiums annually.

Performance: Wrote all company job descriptions for various levels of staff: salaried and hourly staff as well as union and non-union staff. Additionally, managed the employee performance evaluations: semi-annual and annual for the entire company: multiple locations.

Negotiations: Primary decision-maker for all annual insurance negotiations. Direct relationship with carriers and brokers. Decreased annual renewal rate for Health & Welfare plans to a 0% increase for seven consecutive years. Re-designed & re-negotiated benefit plan. Served as head of roundtable discussions with union.

Benefits Administration: Primary decision-maker and manager of company-wide benefits program: Health Savings Accounts, Medical, Dental, Disability, Life Insurance, 401(K) Retirement Savings. Responsible for roll-out (Open enrollment and educational meetings) for up to 40 sites for all levels of staff: hourly and salaried: 1000+ employees. Created new plan design resulting in flat renewals for five consecutive years.

Compliance: OSHA, Wage & Hour, ADA, EEOC, HIPPA, EGTRRA, BWC, FMLA. Required Labor Law Posting, State Inspections and mandatory regulatory compliance issues.

Safety: Increased wellness by improving attendance, company-wise by 30% in less then four months. Decreased on-the-job accidents by 70% since managing safety program. By guidelines set with Bureau of Workers Compensation, managed entire company safety program. Through insurance carriers, developed and delivered wellness program. Tobacco Free campus, rolled-out annual Wellness at Zoo event, American Heart Association walk, Company Wellness Fair, with maximum participation of 300+ employees. Changed entire company culture focusing on creating educated (employee) consumers.
