Supervisor of a staff of 24, in the Phoenix Area, and the other half in Denver, CO.

September - 41,000 invoices and $175M in billings.

Responsible for all open orders, targeted billable items, building relationships with Regional Sales and Operations teams for a smooth working process between, billing and builder.

Review open aged items, for accuracy and issues related to delayed billings.

Development of new processes and procedures to reduce the amount adjustments needing to be taken due to billing inaccuracies. As well as staff training, month end procedures, and email etiquette.

Work with the Lead Biller to develop SOP’s for multiple processes. Such as, adjustment requests and service orders. Also developed trainings for individuals.

Also managed my own workload of builders, as well as billing Commercial Accounts at the end of the month.

CVS, PHOENIX, AZ JUNE 2017- March 2022

Supervisor of a staff of 13, working outstanding credits from multiple payers. Workload: A/R 4571 Claims at $3,212,850.41 - Gov’t payers Medicaid/Medicare

Oversee day-to-day operations of team to ensure timely and accurate completion of all required actions.

Monitor and strive to improve the collection of claims with respect to the contract. Including determination of billing practices, cash application, while staying with all compliance guidelines.

Maintain productivity and quality standards of all patient financial services functions.

Review AR adjustments for accuracy and submit adjustment requests as defined by departmental policies and procedure for upper management approval.

Maintain compliance with government reimbursement programs.

Represents CVS working with Accounts Payable personnel of all levels negotiating payment arrangements to maximize cash flow. Earned top performer awards for highest past due receivables reduction of 60+ past due for June 2018, December 2017, and November 2017. Also received top performer awards for highest reduction of 60+ past due for the months of November 2017 and October 2017. Assumed performance responsibility of multiple nursing homes for receivable stability during department transition from Ohio to Arizona.
