Aggressive, Scripted 12-month acquisition project of a newly patented Ophthalmic Device
Reporting to the Chairman of the Board on an aggressive timeline I installed scalable commercial systems including ERP, purchasing, global distribution, inventory control, and S&OP, and generated sourcing strategy and project plans.
Concurrently replaced failing CMO’s by bringing production of devices in-house and taking consumables to a highly qualified Asian CMO.
Conducted successful closure to high profile consumable moulded silicone risks which resulted in full mitigation and a 41% reduction in piece price, with a 4-month ROI for the new tooling.
Led sourcing programs for CNC, PCBA, Packaging; achieved >10% cost and lead time improvements.
