WORK EXPERIENCE
Fairway Independent Mortgage Corporation
Gold Star Mortgage Corporation
03/2020-07/2021
Loan Processing Assistant/Loan Officer Assistant.
I started Gold Star Mortgage Corporation in the processing department. I was first in the Order Outs Department. Here I prepped the files for the processor. I pulled clients paystubs, social security information, credit reports, ordered appraisal, verication of employment. Different loans have different requirements so if yhe loan was VA, FHA. JUMBO etc. I made sure that documentation required for the loan to be sent to underwriting was in the file, correct and up to date. I made sure that all forms, for example; names, address’, income, verification of employment, government forms, social security form, Home insurance declarations page, etc. Followed underwriting, state and Gold Star Mortgage Corporation's guidelines. I also made sure title was correct and that there wasn’t anything in the title that would hold up the loan or require us to go past the lock interest rate date. Our goal was always to either close early or on time. Made sure that all information including income was correct and matched paystubs provided by the client. Verified income and assets in the AUS system as required, reran AUS if any changes to income or assets were made during the loan process. If any forms in the home loan file were incorrect, I was the one to get the job done by communicating with the loan officers, appraisal company, insurance agents, title and escrow, employer, etc.to meet underwriting, State and Gold Star Mortgage Corporation guidelines. I also kept the pipeline 100% up to date so that every person working on the loan knew exactly what was happening with the loan, what forms or information needed updated or cleared up and made sure all conditions for underwriting were met in a timely matter. Ensured HMDA and Gold Star Mortgage Corporation approved, withdrawn, rejected and cancelled loans met regulatory requirements in the system. Always had meetings with the Manager, loan processors, loan officers and all assistants to make sure that everyone knew of any changes made or being made for any regulatory requirements, changes in county down payment assistant programs, changes to any underwriting guidelines with Gold Star Mortgage Corporation etc. Most off all we all worked as a team to get the loan closed early and open the doors to a new beginning for each one of our clients.
