I am excited about the opportunity to apply for the Healthcare Support Worker position at your institution. In 2022, I obtained a State Diploma of State Registered Nurse at the School of Health Sciences of the Catholic University of Central Africa, preparing me to start my career in this field. I hope to apply my current skills while developing new abilities if I am successful in securing this position. Although being a young state-certified nurse, I am interested in starting a career in the field of health and care as a healthcare assistant in order to gain valuable professional experience. Although I did not hold a formal position as a support worker, I did an internship in the RED CROSS Practical Nursing Program; I completed an internship program where I was responsible for the care of 10 elderly residents during my studies. My duties included assistance with daily living and hygiene, assistance with field trips and entertainment activities. I am also proud to have built relationships with residents and their families to provide sensitive emotional support that has enabled these vulnerable adults to live in comfort and dignity.

During my various internships as a nurse, I have learned valuable skills that I hope to use as a health care practitioner. I developed strong interpersonal communication skills by working closely with patients and learned how to effectively administer medication according to each patient's needs. My ability to remain calm in difficult situations and my empathy for others allowed me to provide caring support in this role.
