ACADEMIC PROJECTS

• Cleaning and Maid Service

A desktop application using Java and Netbeans integrated with Microsoft SQL Server to provide home services to customers. The app allows users to hire cleaners, plumbers, maids, and other service providers for tasks such as sofa cleaning, home deep cleaning, etc. The app also provides a platform for service provider to manage their whole service-providing company.

• BdBuddy

An Android application using Java and Android Studio that allows users to find travel companions or tour guides and provides necessary information about popular tourist destinations in Bangladesh. The app is integrated with Firebase for real-time database management and user authentication.

• Colporteur

Website for buying and selling stationery. Uses HTML, CSS, PHP, MySQL. SQL designed the database. Intuitive interface for browsing and purchasing items. Sellers can register and sell products.

• Covid-19 vaccination logbook

Developed a distributed database to store Covid-19 vaccination information. The database is designed to have multiple sites, with each site storing data related to a specific region. The sites are connected in such a way that they can access and exchange data with each other.

• Deep Learning-Based Pneumonia Detection

A soft-computing project for detecting pneumonia from x-ray images using TensorFlow, NumPy, torch, etc. CNN, VGG16, ResNet-50, and InceptionNet models were implemented.(Currently preparing a manuscript for submission to a journal on title "Investigating the Effectiveness of Interpretable Cost-Sensitive Neural Network for Pneumonia Detection Contemplating Data Imbalance".Here we are using LIME,cost-sensitive neural network on two imbalanced dataset.)
