Although I have many accomplishments I am very proud of, there is one project that is most memorable. In 2006, I was contracted to design a four sided “Super-Hero” themed display banner for a Mardi Gras oat. The display was 6 ft wide x 8 ft long and 4 ft high. The artwork was a colorful collage of DC / MARVEL super heros that appeared to be coming out of a series of black & white comic books. The oat was accompanied by adults wearing super-hero costumes throwing out Mardi Gras beads, necklaces and candy. I was told when the children saw The Super-Hero oat coming down the street, they went absolutely crazy. Needless to say, I was touched! The feeling I had was measured more than the compensation. The photos of that day are still in my portfolio to this day. I am a member of The Graphic Artist’s Guild which is a guild of graphic designers, illustrators, and photographers and is organized into seven chapters around the United States.
