Kudzai is a motivated, adaptable, responsible and high performing person who has considerable experience of working as a geologist. I attained my Bachelor’s Degree in Geology at University of Zimbabwe where during the course of my studies I developed a strong admiration and enthusiasm for Geology in every core field of Geology. My recent degree was a bit challenging but was able to horn my skills in analysis, reading and understanding the ore deposit studies, exploration geology, ore resource quantification and the ability to manage time and work under pressure. My dissertation was entitled, “The Geology of the Shamva pegmatites: emphasis on lithium mineralization”.

During my educational period, I managed to work as a production geologist as well as an exploration geologist at two gold mines in the Midlands greenstone belt under Rio Zim Corporations. I also managed to visit various mines in Zimbabwe for research analysis such as the Trojan Nickel mine, Mimosa mine. I got a deeper understanding of the fields of Geology than I had before driving all my focus to become a research scientist to help better the world one test at a time. Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Pulserate Investments, Lithium exploration project, Mutoko – Exploration Geologist February 2022 – July 2022

Was a junior geologist doing a lithium exploration program

Did geological mapping for an area covering 10 000Ha

Sampled the various pegmatites encountered during mapping.

Drew maps using ArcGIS

Performed core logging and core sampling

2. Cam and Motor mine, Rio Zim, Kadoma - Geology Intern; February 2019 – June 2019

Worked for a gold mine during the mandatory one-year work-based placement in partial fulfilment of my undergraduate degree in Geology.

Performed Surface geological mapping and Pit mapping.

Did pit sampling and stock pile sampling on daily basis.

Performed core cutting, core logging and core sampling.

Prepared findings into technical reports and presentations for the Technical Services Department.

Participated in grade control measures at the mine.
