Overview This project is about External Source Systems push CSV and XML data files over to ALTESS SFTP file server every day. GPC(Govt. Purcahse Card) ETL process extracts, parses, transforms, and load files into PBIS database. Records from the input daily transaction files, variance files and scoring files temporarily stored into an Operational Data Store (ODS) first. These records compared against each other. All matched records will be moved to Data Warehouse. Unmatched records will be moved to variance repository. The unmatched GPC records in the ODS for a predetermined number of days and looked at daily against new records loaded until that point that that period closes and afterwards move into variance repository.

Responsibilities

•Handing the ETL process for ingesting CSV files, utilizes external tables for mapping the CSV fields to Oracle Staging tables, processes the CSV files into staging tables, then transforms the data, compares the data to identify daily variances and then loads matched/unmatched data into separate GPC repository tables. Afterwards, data-marts built on top these repository tables to get the consolidated data out to report and data consumers.
