Greetings!

Being a catalyst of change not only to the life of learners but also to the community and world is a great honour and responsibility. Moulding the learners holistically, touching their lives to be a better individual are my passion and mission in this world. I was delighted as I read of your opening for a teaching position through Washington Post Jobs this January 2023.

In this regard, I would like to apply for a teaching position as English or P.E. Teacher on your prestigious institution for I believe that my qualification meets the one you are looking for.

I am a graduate of Bachelor of Secondary Education, Major in English at Passi City College in year 2009. I started holding heterogeneous classes last January 2010- February 2010 as a volunteer teacher. Then, on March 1, 2010, I hired as Regular/ Permanent Teacher I of the Local School Board funded by the Local Government Unit of Passi City. Passi National High School, the pioneer and mother school of all schools in our division, there, I rendered my services and shared my expertise as classroom adviser, trainer and coach in sports and Literary-Musical contests. I enjoyed there for almost 4 years for it helped me brought out the best in me.

Furthermore, the experiences I gained encouraged me to continue learning so, I enrolled at Philippine Christian University Graduate Studies for English Majors. Sadly, I didn’t finish it due to financial constraints. On May 15, 2014, I employed by the Department of Education and assigned at Gemumua Agahon National High School as Regular/Permanent Teacher I. Until now, I am handling diverse learners of different grade levels and different subjects at GANHS. I have high regards to my superior that’s why whatever task he gave me I didn’t refuse if I know that it’s for the good to everyone though sometimes I had sleepless nights and worked overtime even weekends.

Moreover, I believe that my experiences in mentoring students using differentiated instruction in implementing DepEd’s Curriculum makes me unique candidate to support your school’s mission in moulding learners holistically despite of individual differences.

My determination, ability and passion to cater a diverse range of learners allow me to thrive a challenging world of teaching. Specifically, some of my professional successes include:

As School English Coordinator for almost 8 years, annually I made the Reading Month Celebration possible which the students enjoy varied activities such as interpretative reading, oration, storytelling, etc. This activity, will discover and develop student’s self-confidence, talent, and interpersonal skills and most of all it boosts learners interest in reading.

As classroom adviser, I encouraged students to dream big and be a hope of the family and the world as I give advices and guide them in the right path in order to achieve their dreams. Now, I have lots of successful students in their chosen field. Many have become my colleagues in the teaching profession.

As coach/trainer in sports and impromptu/ extemporaneous speech. I let my students go out in their shell as I encourage them to give their full potential to everything they do. Some of them won up to the higher level.
