HR & Operations Leader Macy’s, Inc. National City, CA 2010 – Present Lead all daily administration functions in a fast-paced, customer-centric business office with annual revenue of $30-$34M while providing support to all aspects of HR, Finance, and Operations including: Loss Prevention, Safety, and Customer Service. Demonstrated ownership and accountability of the following:

Customer Service

● Lead At Your Service front of house staff, including customer service and support, product pick-up, returns, bill pay, etc.

● Coach, motivate and develop Store Colleagues to reach their fullest potential and use strategies to optimize productivity and efficiency.

● Monitor and address performance issues in a timely manner. Human Resources & Finance

● Full life-cycle ownership of all HR functions including recruitment, interviews, onboarding

(new hire paperwork, Taleo Integration, HRIS data entry, new hire orientation), voluntary and non-voluntary terminations, and transfer requests

● Training coordination and scheduling for all in-store training events

● Lead team responsible for balancing the vault ($30K-$50K daily) and perform other cash functions on a daily basis.

● Partner with Regional HR and Staffing offices for strategic and tactical alignment

● Partner with other Store Leaders on Staffing and Scheduling workforce solutions. Manage all post-production schedule changes for the store.

● Oversee scheduling and weekly payroll for up to 200 hourly associates Operations

● Ensure alignment of all Store Team Associates to corporate procedures, policies, and shortage programs

● Disseminate all incoming communication to Store Executive Team and Associates

● Administer the Safety program and accident reporting process

● Maintain store supplies to minimize barriers to serving customers efficiently

● Schedule, coordinate and confirm work order completion. Act as key store contact with Central Business Partners and Systems team
