DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Review and prioritize testing requests from a variety of departments in keeping with business priorities.
Organize work flow to ensure timely completion of testing requests.
Provide technical interpretation, advice and consultation on analytical results to laboratory personnel.
Write, edit and review laboratory reports with analytical results and evidence based conclusions.
Monitor the effectiveness of laboratory operations and staff and identify needed modifications for continuous improvement efforts.
Read, interpret and apply relevant industry standards and test methodologies.
Write, edit and review laboratory procedures and test protocols in compliance with relevant industry standards.
Coordinate technical and operational aspects of material analysis with other CCS Materials Test Labs.
Supervision over staff with responsibility for reviewing and approving lab reports.
Experienced in implementing ASTM, ACI, BSEN, DIN, ASTHO, QCS 2014, QCS 2010, and QCS 2007 etc. And maintaining effective Quality Management System (ISO 9001:2008) and IAS 17025:2005 and contractual specification. And other project standards for materials testing.
Experience using quality and statistical methods for data analysis and evaluation of operational effectiveness.
Must be independent, motivated, organized and resourceful with excellent communication and skills to work with maximum effectiveness within a team and across organizational boundaries

Fresh Concrete – Sampling of Fresh Concrete, Slump Test, Density Test, Temperature, Air Content, W/C ratio, Bleeding, Vebe test, Degree of compactability, Flow table test, and Cube Sampling.
Hardened Concrete – Compressive Strength of Cube, Cylinder and Beams, Flexural and Modulus of Rapture of Concrete.
Durability Tests – Initial Surface Absorption Test (ISAT), Water Permeability Test, Water Absorption Test, Rapid Chloride Penetration Test (RCP),Chloride migration and
Chemical Analysis of Concrete - Chloride Content, Sulphate Content Water Soluble as well as Acid Soluble.
