Introduction Statement
Project Management Champion focused on building internal and external relationships to drive project excellence, which has been the focus of my career in highly complex and regulated industries. I can see process and quality issues that many cannot and identify appropriate solutions. Innovator of intelligent project solutions delivered on time and under budget. Author of winning proposals for multi-million-dollar contracts, both public and private sector clients.
Brown & Root Environmental, Inc.
Collaborated with the California Underground Storage Tank Program Fund (Fund) team to rewrite guidelines allowing the Fund to withhold payment from a claimant who has not paid the environmental consultant for work performed at the claimant’s other sites. This change allowed for the collection of $5M for Halliburton immediately and substantially more in future payments.
Ecology and Environment, Inc.
On the first day on the job, I identified significant quality problems at a remote field laboratory in Alaska and reported them to the Quality Assurance Director. QA management traveled to the laboratory and validated the concerns, and I was installed as the laboratory manager. Several months of laboratory data were questionable, and the client wanted results. I enrolled the help of six onsite chemists, and all of the data was reviewed and qualified. The client was delighted with the results and the regular reporting of results.
