Now I manage multiple ramp teams, co-manage the deice program, and support our New Hire Representative Program. I’ve met many goals in the past 48 months.

Ramp/Deice

Run 2 ramp teams responsible for safe and efficient offloading and onloading of multiple aircraft nightly.

Hire, discipline, schedule, coach, mentor, assign training, service check, support 23 employees in offload/onload operation.

Co-manage 23 team leaders responsible for safe and efficient aircraft deicing. Oversee the 150-200 deice employees under these 23. Develop leadership skills in these leads; extensive training and mentorship is involved.

Truck Gates

·Designated a trailer only parking area in the employee lot with 95 painted spots. This has made empty trailers accessible, audits safer and more efficient, and provided greater security for our employees and drivers.

·Hired and developed staffing to a comfortable level of full 7day coverage. I hired and mentor 2 very capable team leaders to oversee and support the operation.

·Executed a plan to minimize dwell time and maximize efforts to get volume into sort and/or on the road as quickly as possible.

·Put processes in place for completion of multiple nightly audits, improved communication with control by sending audits to turnover, utilized TEAMS to communicate trailer changes and cancelled routes, fostered collaborative efforts with CTV, bulk truck, RT leadership, yard mule leadership and outbounds and dayside Gates management to continually improve processes.

New Hire Representative Program

·Developed and implemented a collaborative effort between our NHR Quality Driven Management team and the Onboarding 2.0 team to substantially increase retention.

·Support our NHR program through weekly whole group meetings, meals with new hires, one on one meetings with New Hire Reps and prospective NHRs.

·Fielded questions and concerns by peers, hr, safety, recruitment, and upper management as we rolled out an entirely new onboarding process. I continue to educate all on the goals and vision of the program.

·Our team is making immediate, dramatic, sustainable improvements in the safety and retention of new hires at our hub. I have also been able to help promote new leaders from out of our NHR group.

RAMP AGENT TEAM LEADER DEICE POINT LEAD FEDEX 1/2017 TO 3/15/21

·I planned, coordinated, and executed offloads and onloads of multiple aircraft on a nightly basis to ensure all freight and planes departed within our sort parameters.

·I coached employees to rotate and tackle new tasks.

I equipped our team for successful deicing operations by participating in training exercises, maintaining accurate FAA paperwork, and reporting, completion of all pre-post trip of trucks and equipment.

·I acted as covering manager; successfully coordinating the safe execution of deicing procedures during our operations. This involved multitasking, clear communication, and utilizing my assertive/empathetic leadership style.

· I developed all practices for the newly assigned point 7. This was a particularly challenging due to multiple aircraft arriving/departing both east and west through our point.

·I created processes for recording training/experience levels of returning and new deice employees at each point. This gave point leads immediate access to each employee’s abilities/coaching needs to proactively round out their mentoring/training and give the operation greater flexibility to rotate and substitute employees as needed.
