Quality Assurance Manager

Plans, directs, and controls all activities for the Quality and food safety functions within the plant. Develops and implements effective quality and food safety systems. Monitors product and process activities including plant sanitation and good manufacturing practices to ensure conformance to Centennial Farms Dairy and regulatory standards. Track trends, develops preventive systems and solutions, and take appropriate corrective actions as necessary when issues arise. Implements and maintains food safety and quality assurance programs. Develops and leads implementation of technical plans, clearly defining the critical issues and approach to be used in resolving food safety issues. Ensure that the facility and produces meet and maintain all required company, customer and regulatory guidelines. Leads and participates in all regulatory, third party and customer audits and inspections. Monitors plant sanitation and GMP daily so that high standards of sanitation are maintained. Work with Plant Manager and / designate to resolve issues. Evaluates daily production samples to ensure that product meets food safety and quality standards. Leads consumer and customer comment follow-up process for the facility.

Quality Assurance Supervisor

Providing quality management, analytical skills, minor laboratory skills and technical expertise to track products from start to finish while developing corrective actions when needed. By using our quality systems, I am responsible for ensuring that we can safely deliver the best Smithfield, Eckrich, Nathan’s famous, or any of our product brands to customers and consumers. Responsible for overseeing product development, product manufacturing, safety and quality programs in specific production departments within the plant. Responsible for the training, development, and overseeing all Quality Assurance (QA) personnel (both fresh and packaged technicians). Responsible for QA technician’s attendance, payroll, and performance evaluations. Oversee the operation of the QA department, control of finished product evaluations and compliance towards specifications, HACCP, SSOP, and GMPs. Accountable for ensuring the applicable food safety and quality programs are fully implemented and documented to ensure USDA regulatory compliance and the production of safe and wholesome products.
